Greetings family,
It’s important that you set up systems in your life so that you don’t have to always rely on discipline.
Because as we all know, sometimes our discipline can fail us.
I’ll give you an example of a system; If you’re someone who snoozes your morning alarm easily — A system you could put in place is charging your phone away from your bed at night. So that when your alarm goes off, your forced to get out of bed to turn it off.
Another example of a system is someone on a diet choosing not to keep unhealthy snacks in their home, or ensuring only healthy options are readily available. This system is effective because when the urge to snack or to cheat on their diet arises, the option simply isn’t there. In such moments when discipline may fail, the system they have put in place helps keep them on track.
So look around you. In what areas of your life do you fail to stay disciplined in, and is there a system you can put in place to help you keep on track?
Once again I am grateful to have you here on this journey with me.
We’ll talk again soon.
Much love,
Cedric Turakira
