Greetings family,
I’ve got a question for you, Why do you do what you do?
And the reason I ask that is because I’ve come to learn that we all need a strong “why”. We need a reason as to why we do what we do—and that reason has to be bigger than just us.
When you study some of the most successful people in the world, you quickly realize they all had a strong reason for starting their journeys. That reason was bigger than themselves—whether they grew up with nothing and wanted to provide for their loved ones, leading them to start a business, or they committed to getting in shape so they could stay healthy and be there for their kids as long as possible.
You can see the common denominator: their “why” wasn’t about themselves. They started that business to take care of their family, not just to enrich themselves. They got into the gym to extend their lifespan so they could be present for their kids—not just to get abs.
So this is the point I’m trying to make—You need a strong “Why”.
That’s the fire that keeps you going—especially on the days when you don’t feel like it. It works because it’s bigger than you, and we all know that people are willing to do more for others than they do for themselves.
What’s your “Why”?
Once again I am grateful to have you here on this journey with me.
We’ll talk again soon.
Much love,
Cedric Turakira
